Class Description:  

Master the art of pie making for the holidays in tonight’s online baking fundamentals class with Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt. She’s an experienced baker and is eager to teach you the art of pie making as you learn to roll, crimp and chop your way to pie expert status.

Chef Jill will start by teaching you how to make a flaky homemade pie crust that’s simple to put together and easy to roll. Then, she’ll walk you through a couple tasty fillings to create a showstopping Chocolate Pecan Pie and a classic Cherry Pie while sharing pro tips like how to choose seasonal fruits, the proper way to balance flavors and spices, and more that will make your pies shine.
