Santa’s Candy Land Workshop: Sweet Holiday Candies & Confections with Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner
Just in time for the holidays, here’s a sweet class that will teach the basics of candy making so that you can create delicious confections in your home kitchen. It really is a lot easier than you think.
Let’s learn how with experienced culinary professional and Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner, graduate of The French Culinary Institute and past owner of Mulberry & Mott and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room.
She’ll cover things like the importance of a candy thermometer, how to use it to differentiate between the various stages of cooked sugar, a lesson working with chocolate and more. Once you know the basics, you can make almost any confection.
You’ll learn incredible holiday treats like Bourbon Balls, Honeycomb Toffee and festive Chocolate Dipped Pretzels - all perfect to enjoy yourself or to give as thoughtful homemade gifts for the upcoming holiday season (how generous!)
With these recipes and the know-how you’ll be taking home, you might even want to host your own candy-making party (now that’s the way to build those holiday memories!)
