(No Longer Available) Holiday Lovin’ from the Oven: Homemade Biscotti & Scones
What better time than the holiday season to light up a fire in the ovens and learn to create warm, mouthwatering homemade Biscotti and Scones.
Join culinary instructor and Pastry Chef Erik Sharp for a fun-filled and informative morning full of the aromas of seasonal baking. He has an easy-to-understand teaching style with tons of experience, such as Pastry Chef for Kansas City’s renowned American Restaurant, former owner of Three Spoons of Sugar and much more. He’s eager to share his expert baking tips & techniques while teaching you how to make fabulous baked goods, from start to finish.
It’s a class that will elevate your baking skills, as Chef Erik begins class by showing you the secrets and shortcuts of making delicious Biscotti - it’s just so darn good, you’ll want to leave some out with the milk for Santa. And it’s very versatile, by adding your favorite flavorings, nuts and more.
Then, he’ll move on to our scones lesson. From mixing, shaping, flavoring and baking tips that garner perfection every time, he’ll cover it all. He’ll also whip up a versatile lemon curd that pairs perfectly with our scones.
Oh, and not to worry… Chef Erik will also tell you how to freeze both of these beauties so you can pull ‘em out and bake for a no-hassle special treat on Christmas morning, or dazzle your holiday guests with homemade goodies at the drop of a hat.
A fresh basket of baked treats are also thoughtful and unique holiday gifts! Just sayin.
