He’s an engaging professional with tons of experience such as Pastry Chef for Kansas City’s renowned American Restaurant, former owner of Three Spoons of Sugar and much more, so you’ll be learning from a real pro.

You’ll garner essential baking skills as you watch Chef Erik whip up some of his all-time favorite edible holiday gifts. He’ll begin by teaching you to make a flavorful Fruitcake, a rich dense cake made with candied or dried fruit, nuts and spices. Ok, ok, we know that many a holiday joke has been made at its expense but Chef Erik’s recipe is sure to change your mind and if you just give it a chance, you’ll find it’s one of the most delicious holiday breads you’ll ever taste. Promise!

Chef will also walk you through the steps to make a pair of simple and delicious quick breads. And as a sweet bonus, he’ll share and teach his grandfather’s Pfefernuese recipe –tiny, yummy spice cookies that continue to be an annual tradition for his own family’s holiday gatherings.
