Passport to Thailand: Learn to Make Authentic Pad Thai and More! (Class Added on Sat 2/27)

NOTE: We have added another class on Sat 2/27. Please visit that date on our calendar to register. Thank you!
Join us for one of our most popular cooking classes, where you’ll enter into an amazing culinary experience with one of the best in the business. It’s your chance to step behind the scenes and into the world of a culinary pro.
Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt will lead our culinary journey and teach you the ins & outs of cooking authentic Thai cuisine. She’s an engaging culinary professional who knows her way around a kitchen, and her teaching style is lots of fun and easy to understand.
Chef will explore the underlying principle to cooking authentic Thai cuisine, which is to balance flavors, textures, and colors into delicious dishes. Did you know that only in Thai cooking can you find the co-existence of all major flavor characteristics: sweet, sour, spicy, salty and bitter? Uh, huh… it’s true!
Get ready to be impressed while Chef Jill shows off her mad cooking skills as she shows you how to create classic Thai dishes like the oh-so-popular Pad Thai, Moo Tod (crispy fried pork), Soft Spring Rolls with a spicy Peanut Sauce and more. She’ll also include a lesson how to use a kitchen torch to create a decadent Coconut Creme Brulee. Fancy!
You’ll get in on some of the cooking activities and, in the end, taste everything you’ve helped make during this most interesting kitchen experience.
