Cake Decorating: Simple Techniques For Beginners (Class Added on Sat 3/6)
NOTE: We have added another class on Sat 3/6. Please visit that date on our calendar to register. Thank you!
In today’s introductory class on cake decorating, you’ll explore some basics about cakes like the importance of crumb-coating, cooling, leveling, prepping and more.
Then it’s all about the decorating as your instructor, Rachel Van Stratton, shows you how to use premade Buttercream icing in decorator bags, different kinds of tips and more, as you learn to make basic decorations such as stars, rosettes and shell borders. Everything you need to know to make your cake decorating a breeze!
It will all come together as you practice leveling, crumb-coating, icing and decorating your very own mini-cake that you’ll get to take home and show off to your family. Say goodbye to grocery store cakes!
