Tonight you’re in for a treat when you get what you have always dreamed of… a delicious Asian dinner along with awesome lessons in cooking like a rock star from our own Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt.  

Get ready to learn some of the fundamentals of basic Asian cooking from an experienced culinary pro. It will be a great night of cooking fun with Chef Jill as she teaches culinary basics like knife skills, sautéing, sauce-making and more. 

You’ll learn how to prepare classic Asian dishes such as Spicy Sichuan Dumplings, Minced Pork with Noodles, Soft Spring Rolls with Thai Peanut Dipping Sauce and Chicken Lettuce Wraps which you’ll get to taste as we go through each dish. For a sweet ending to our culinary journey to Asia, Chef Jill will teach you how to make a cool Mango Sorbet for dessert. So good!

You’ll get in on some of the cooking fun with this engaging instructor and walk away with tons of information on how to cook these authentic Asian delights in your own kitchen. A fun way to unwind on aSaturday night!

NOTE: For Onsite Classes,when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
