French Croissants with Pastry Chef Erik Sharp

Ahhhh, the croissant… that beautiful, flaky, buttery, golden, crescent-shaped, joy-in-your-mouth pastry that sings to the taste buds. Considered elusive even to the most seasoned baker, many don’t think croissants are within their reach skill-wise until a professional baker tells them that yes, it IS possible!

Chef Erik has garnered years of baking experience under his belt as Pastry Chef for Kansas City’s renowned American Restaurant, former owner of Three Spoons of Sugar and more, so you can expect to learn much from this expert baker.

Today, he’ll share his talents and time with us as he teaches you how to make and bake croissants… step by step. It’s a process that takes some time, but the rewards are amazing and completely worth it!

Chef Erik will show you how to shape croissants and tips on baking them up perfectly, so they look as good as the ones in those bakery cases! Yes, we’ll be tasting croissants… and you’ll take some home to enjoy. You're welcome.
