Pork Tenderloin can be intimidating to many folks, but it really shouldn’t be that way.  And we have the perfect instructor who will change your mind. 

Enter Chef & Lead Culinary Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt – a passionate and engaging culinary instructor and loves teaching folks how to cook pork. Seriously, she’s obsessed… just ask her! And she can’t wait to show you how easy it is to prepare a gourmet pork tenderloin dinner from scratch, along with amazing side dishes and a stellar dessert. 

Hey, if you’re gonna spend the money on a great cut of meat, you should really know all about it – so Chef will talk you through basics like identifying, breaking down and prepping tenderloins. She’ll even throw in some basic knife skills (You’re welcome).

Chef Jill will dazzle as she teaches more essential cooking techniques, such as pan searing, sauce-making tips that will be used to create tonight’s exceptional meal that includes Fennel & Grapefruit Pork Tenderloin along with all those perfectly paired sides.  Of course, the decadent dessert will impress, as well. Duh. You’ll get in on some of the cooking activities as you help prepare some of tonight’s dishes along with Chef Jill. Lucky you!

NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
