An Upscale Steak & Seafood Dinner - A Very Special Mother’s Day Celebration!

Take that very special Mother in your life out for a Mother’s Day celebration that she’ll truly remember! No need to worry about crowded restaurants when you can surprise your mom by bringing her to our beautiful culinary arts center, housed in a beautifully restored buggy barn built at the turn of the century,for a unique steak & seafood dinner experience. We’ll pamper her with warm personal service and excellent food! 

One of our most popular instructors, Bruce Campbell, will lead tonight’s class as he shows you how to prepare some fantastic recipes to create a beautiful steak & seafood dinner. And if mom wants to officially take the night off from the cooking duties, just let Bruce know. Mom can sit back and relax during class and Bruce will prepare her meal... or she can join in on the cooking fun! Hey, it's her special day, so we'll leave that decision up to her! 

You’ll learn a variety of cooking techniques such as sautéing and sous vide (what’s that? You’ll have to sign up to find out!). We’ll discuss baking times and temperatures, and we'll get a lesson on grilling too! 

We'll greet you with a glass of sparkling wine and then Bruce will get things started with a Seafood Chowder and Sweet Drop Biscuits. Next, you'll tie on an apron and help prepare Beef Tenders with Steak Butter, Maryland-Style Crab Cakes served with fresh Chili Lime Aioli, Savory Potato Shingles and Glazed Carrots. For dessert, Bruce will show off his skills as he demos a spectacular Chocolate Dark Rum Truffle Torte, right before your eyes.

Throughout this lovely evening, there will be samplings of red and white wines as Bruce explains how they pair perfectly with tonight’s dishes.

Let’s honor Mom on her special day by getting her out of her kitchen and into ours for an evening she’ll never forget!

NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing.
