(No Longer Available) Global Ciders - A Saturday Afternoon Tasting Experience w/ Kerri Lesh

Ciders, both sweet ciders and hard ciders, are making a comeback as folks enjoy more variety in their beverages.  Did you know that in some places, making cider predates making wine? 

Join us for interesting Saturday afternoon of cider tastings and education as you explore really great ciders from around the world with someone who is a cider connoisseur!  We’ve sourced some rare versions as well as some more commonly found ciders. Learning about the cultures that produce this refreshing beverage and the different fruit varietals used in its making.

Your expert instructor, Kerri Lesh (Certified Specialist of Wine, CSW) will take you to places like Ireland, Sweden, and the Basque Country where sweet and hard ciders to learn about the history behind this ancient practice. 

We’ll serve some paired small snacks with your Cider tastings.  Be prepared to take lots of notes as there is much to be learned about the wonderful world of ciders.
