Spices and herbs, also called seasoning, are an important component of cooking, if not the most important.  They can transform a boring recipe into an unbelievably delicious dish, with simple seasoning tweaks.

Chef Jesse Vega is an experienced culinary professional and knows that trying to figure out what to do with all the bottles of herbs and spices at the store or in your pantry can be intimidating.  He’s eager to share some of his favorite pro tips to creating your own delicious and versatile spice blends that will add that extra oomph into any dish.

You’ll learn basics like which spices can be combined (and those that can’t), how to properly store your mixed spices, how to create the perfect culinary balance, and more as Chef discusses his favorite spice blends that are used for everything from chicken, pork, seafood, steak to BBQ dishes and vegetables, including Chef Jesse’s special all-purpose spice blend.  He’ll also show you how to cook with spices as he prepares several dishes for tasting. 

This class will change the way you cook and give you the confidence to create personalized spice blends that will instantly spice up your home cooking like a pro.
