(No Longer Available) Plant-Based Cooking - Summer Burger Fest Menus with Chef LaDonna Johnson
Have a burger craving but want to eat healthier? Then, this is the veggie burger class for you.
Forget those frozen store-bought versions. Today’s instructor, Chef LaDonna Johnson is an experienced plant-based cooking expert and owner of her own business – Organic Soul. She’ll show you how simple it is to take baby steps into the meatless world by sharing her tips for building the best plant-based, meat-free veggie burgers you’ve ever tasted.
She walks the walk when it comes to plant-based eating and plans to cover the nutritional bases; then she’ll show you how to create several kinds of delicious protein-packed burgers including tips on how to finish those burgers to perfection.
She’ll explore recipes like Savory Mushroom Burgers, Gluten-Free Veggie Burgers, and more. You’ll also learn to make tasty side dishes such as a Creamy Twice baked Potato salad, Spicy Asian Cole slaw and of course, a chocolatey plant-based dessert to go with your burgers. Seriously, who doesn’t love chocolate, right?
You’ll get in on some of the cooking activities in this interesting class, plus take home the recipes so you can recreate everything at home. Watch out folks! Your summer cookouts just got healthier….and yummier!
