(No Longer Available) Plant-Based Pizza Night! with Chef LaDonna Johnson

Everyone loves pizza, but not all can handle the side effects that come with some of the traditional ingredients such as dairy and meats. If this sounds like you, or if you’re vegan or just trying to eat less meat and dairy, this class is perfect for you.
Tonight’s instructor, Chef LaDonna Johnson is experienced plant-based cook and just the right person to show you how some simple and tasty plant-based/vegan alternatives can bring the joy back to pizza night. She owns her own business – Organic Soul – and has a passion for teaching folks how to cook healthier, so expect to learn lots in this informative class.
She’ll explore some of her favorite versatile plant-based pizza ingredients and will kick things off by showing you how to make homemade pizza crust (yes, from scratch!) and a 2-ingredient flatbread.
Then, she’ll teach a homemade Roasted Tomato Pizza Sauce and an easy-peasy Cashew Feta Cheese (trust me, it’s so delicious you won’t even miss the dairy)!
She’ll bring it all together as she creates a Grilled Veggie Pizza topped with loads of fresh grilled summer vegetables, as well as a fabulous Greek Pizza. Soo good! Don’t worry, you’ll get to taste both pizzas, along with a fresh plant-based Caesar Salad with homemade dressing.
We’ll end our delightfully delicious cooking class with a fabulous plant-based dessert made with chocolate! A great class with recipes that are so good no one will know they're made with healthy ingredients…unless you tell ‘em!
