Tonight, is the perfect night to grab your favorite person or group of friends and join us in our kitchen as we learn to prepare a delicious seafood meal.

It’s an interactive night of cooking fun as work in small groups alongside Chef Richard McPeake – graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, cookbook author and culinary instructor extraordinaire!

You may not realize that our own Chef Richard designed the original recipes for the Bristol Bar & Grill. Yep, he has a bit of a “fishy” past! Chef Richard is the original Chef for Kansas City’s award-winning Bristol Bar & Grill … famous for its seafood, and legendary for its sauces. In fact, he helped propel the Bristol to legendary status as the restaurant received Silver Spoon 1st Place awards, Travel Holiday awards, and countless other accolades in the early 1980's.

Yep, Chef is the 'real deal' and the consummate professional who is passionate about sharing some of his favorite recipes in tonight’s fantastic cooking class: Potato Cakes with Smoked Salmon & Caviar, Pistachio Crusted Scallops, Parmesan Spaghetti Squash Stuffed Tomato and Poached Pear with Chocolate Mascarpone & Raspberry Sauce. What a menu!

NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together. Thank you!
