Yazoo! A Big Fat Greek Cooking Class - Gyros, Baklava & More!

Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt is so darn excited about teaching this super fun cooking class featuring a fabulous Greek dinner menu. Seriously, she's obsessed. There’s no need to wait for the next Greek Fest to experience real Greek food – Chef Jill has got you covered! 

Tonight, she'll lead you through the steps to create a complete Greek dinner – from start to finish – as you learn loads of culinary techniques and sample great recipes that you can make again, at home. Promise.

On our mouthwatering menu: Chicken Gyro (a classic!), made-from-scratch Flatbread and authentic Greek side dishes to perfectly compliment our meal. We’ll end our Greek feast cooking class with a traditional dessert of Baklava.

Of course, you’ll get a chance to don an apron and “get your Greek on” alongside Chef Jill as we learn by doing when you help with some of the cooking fun. A fabulous way to cap off your weekend with fabulous food, good friends or that special someone.

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.

NOTE: For Onsite Classes, when you arrive, please check in with our Class Assistant who will give you information as to where you will be seated.  We will be arranging our classrooms to allow for social distancing. In order to comply with governmental orders and for the protection of our guests and staff, we ask that you wear a mask when here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. If you are planning to sit next to someone else attending the class, we would suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the class so that we can address that request.  Both students would need to be comfortable with the request to be seated together.
