(No Longer Available) Incredible Italian Desserts-Panna Cotta, Polenta Cake & More!

The Italians have been baking delectable baked goods for many years, and every Italian neighborhood across the country has that special bakery that draws folks from all over town to buy cookies and desserts made from authentic Italian recipes.

You’re in luck tonight, because expert instructor Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner is in our kitchen to teach some of her favorite Italian delights. She’s an experienced professional and graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room....plus, her teaching style is lots of fun. 

In this sweet class, she’ll focus on three classic Italian desserts - Panna Cotta, a rustic-style Polenta Cake and Anginetti (lemon cookies). Buonissima!  

Get ready to learn, and practice, basic baking skills like creaming butter and sugar, proper measuring of dry, wet, and solid ingredients, how to best add eggs, baking pan sizes and materials, overall baking success tips, and more as you tie on an apron and work alongside Chef Natasha and help make some of tonight’s delicious morsels of magnifico goodness.

Did we mention that you’ll enjoy a classic Negroni cocktail,  too?  It’s true. (pssst….just ask Chef Natasha about well how it pairs perfectly with the desserts you’ll learn tonight, especially the lemon cookies.)

When it’s all over, you’ll leave with recipes…as well as the Panna Cotta that you made in class, to enjoy at home!
