Grab your pals and throwback journey to the 1960’s as you enjoy a fun Friday night tiki party complete with exotic Polynesian-inspired food and cocktails made famous at the world-renowned Trader Vic’s.

Popular CCKC cooking instructor, Bruce Campbell (aka the Food and Beverage Guy.) is the perfect host for our evening of Polynesian merriment … mixing up classic island-inspired cocktails, food and tons of fun.

Tonight, Bruce will start off by teaching one of the most legendary rum concoctions in the world … the Mai Tai, a classic Trader Vic’s cocktail.  We’ll also experience the Zombie, the infamous cocktail with a smooth, fruity taste (so named for its perceived effects upon the drinker!) and the Scorpion, a kick-butt island-y treat which tastes great and packs a “punch!”  Mixologist Bruce will teach variations including frozen and virgin versions of these Pacific classics.

Our delicious Polynesian dinner menu includes with an assortment of hearty island-inspired small plates and appetizers and, of course dessert … served with Bruce’s favorite Kona Café!

Don’t miss out on this great evening of Polynesian fun – Kansas City style! Wear your favorite flowered shirt if you dare!
