Master Class: French Classics featuring Beef Bourguignon

This 3-hour culinary master class taught by veteran chef, restaurateur and culinary instructor, Chef Richard McPeake, focuses on important culinary skills as you learn all about soups and stocks. You’ll learn as he shows you how to create and use thickeners and the PROPER method of braising.

Chef McPeake is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, cookbook author, and seasoned culinary instructor so you’ll understand not only how to prepare tonight’s classic recipes, but also why!

The dishes include Poached Chicken Bercy, Spaetzle in Brown Butter Sauce – made from scratch, Classic French Beef Bourguignon, Soup with Homemade Dumplings and a Classic Cream Soup. Chef will also include wine tastings that pair with tonight’s menu. 

As in all of Chef’s master classes, you will work in small groups and practice what he preaches.  These hearty French dishes are some that will be in your culinary arsenal for rest of your life.
