Join us for a special cooking class where you’ll immerse yourself in the interesting world of Moroccan spices, flavors, and texture with culinary instructor, Asmaa Benbaba.

Originally from Morocco, Asmaa has been teaching students to cook authentic Moroccan cuisine for many years, and we’re excited that she’s sharing her passion as she introduces you to some iconic Moroccan dishes from her homeland.

No other cuisine surpasses Morocco’s subtle use of multi spice blends which are used to enhance the natural flavors of food, not mask it.  Saffron, cinnamon, cumin, olives, honey, and couscous are all key ingredients.

Asmaa will explore spice identification and more while sharing stories of her culture as she begins our cooking class by exploring the unique techniques to make Kefta (Moroccan meatballs) using a tagine, a perfectly paired couscous salad, a ends with a traditional sweet Moroccan dessert,

You’ll assist Asmaa with some of the cooking activities and end the evening enjoying the lovely dinner that you helped prepare.   And, as always, you’ll leave class with the recipes and the confidence to keep cooking your new favorite Moroccan dishes at home.
