Cake Decorating: Beginner Techniques (Class added on Sat 1/29)

In today’s introductory class on cake decorating, you’ll explore some basics about cakes like the importance of crumb-coating, leveling, prepping and more.

Then it’s all about the decorating, as your instructor Rachel Van Stratton, shows you how to use premade Buttercream icing in decorator bags, and Rachel's 4 favorite beginning tips as you learn to make basic decorations such as stars, rosettes, and shell borders. Everything you need to know to make your cake decorating a breeze!

It will all come together as you practice leveling, crumb-coating, icing and decorating your very own mini-cake that you’ll get to take home and show off to your family. Say goodbye to grocery store cakes!
