Looking for something quick & easy to whip for a quick fall-inspired dish or dessert? Enter the galette. Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner knows exactly how to create these impressive gems and is ready to share her expert tips and baking techniques as you learn to make a French galette.
Chef Natasha is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room. Yep, she’s a real pro with a fun, engaging teaching style.
She will start things off by teaching the proper techniques to make a perfect tart dough, as well as expert tips on how to bake the galette to perfection. She’ll also explore sweet & savory filling options, plus many other baking techniques and useful information such as basic knife skills, the proper way to measure, and more.
You’ll get to work along with Chef Natasha and make your own fruit galette that you’ll take with you to bake off at home. Then Chef will demonstrate a savory vegetable galette that you’ll get to taste in class, so you can see for yourself just how versatile a galette can be. The possibilities are endless!
They're impressive and will WOW guests and family and just in time for your holiday gatherings - or any time of the year! Won’t you be fancy?
