Old-Fashioned Christmas Cookies

Join us for a holiday baking class featuring classic time-honored Christmas cookies and treats.

Sometimes we cooks just assume that everyone knows how to make the cookies that your Mom or Grandma serve up every year, but that’s not always the case.  You may have these recipes sitting in some rag-tag recipe box, but do you really know the fundamentals behind the instructions? That’s the question.

Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner will lead today’s nostalgic class as you learn some age-old tradition recipes.  Chef Natasha is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute and past owner of Mulberry & Mott and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room, so she knows a thing or two about baking. Duh.

She’ll teach essential baking fundamentals and share expert tips while showing you how to make holiday classics like Russian Tea Cakes and Chocolate Peppermint Melting Moments (yum!). Plus, one of Chef Natasha’s favorite family Christmas cookie traditions that includes a surprising ingredient. 

Let’s keep the light on for this festive holiday baking class where you’ll get to tie on an apron and assist Chef with some of the baking activities, sample today’s cookie treats, and, of course, take home all the recipes as well as some freshly baked homemade cookies for your family to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
