Class Description:

If you’ve seen all those fancy focaccia creations on social media sites like Pinterest and wondered if you can make them too, this is the class for you! AND you’ll learn how to make focaccia bread which will be so useful!

Focaccia is an extremely versatile Italian flatbread slathered with olive oil and sprinkled with salt. Rosemary sprigs and other herbs are sometimes tucked into the bread dough for flavor and eye appeal. It’s a killer accompaniment to entrees, a luscious appetizer when dipped into flavored olive oil and a beautiful and easy appetizer that begs for interesting toppings. 

Our own Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt will lead tonight’s specialty bread-making class. She has an engaging personality with loads of baking experience under toque, so you’ll be learning from one of the best in the biz.  She’ll walk you through the steps to make her favorite focaccia recipe that’s versatile, easy to reproduce in your own kitchen and then show you fun ways to personalize it into works of art. The ideas are endless....and you can create designs for any time of the year. 

It’ll be lots of fun and you’ll get to take your masterpiece home to show off to your family and friends. 

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
