In today’s 3-hour introductory class on cake decorating, you’ll explore some basics about cakes like the importance of crumb-coating, leveling, prepping and more.
Then it’s all about the decorating, as experienced instructor Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner shows you how to use pre-made Buttercream icing in decorator bags, and Chef's 4 favorite beginning tips, as you learn to make basic decorations such as stars, rosettes and shell borders. Everything you need to know to make your cake decorating a breeze!
It will all come together as you practice leveling, crumb-coating, icing and decorating your very own mini-cake that you’ll get to take home and show off to your family. Say goodbye to grocery store cakes!
