Join Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner as she shows us how to make delicious Scones. You won’t believe how versatile a scone can be!
Chef Natasha is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott (Country Club Plaza, KC) and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room, so you can rest assured you’ll learn much from this engaging professional.
She’ll teach essential baking and pastry techniques as well as guidelines for shaping and baking all types of scones. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to handle the dough (lightly!) and when to stop (sooner than you think!). Plus, she’ll explore flavorings and add-ins like chocolate, orange and apricots.
That’s not all, Chef Natasha will also demonstrate how to make a citrus curd – the perfect accompaniment to serve with scones.
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
