Class Description: 

Let’s have a [street] party in our kitchens tonight!! Sounds fun, right?

Street tacos are the heart and soul of Mexico’s diverse cuisine. Just walk the streets of any big city in the world and you’ll find authentic tacos being served up to long lines of hungry customers from food trucks and snack wagons. And, let me tell you, these mini mobile kitchens, trucks, and snack wagons have their loyal followers … and for good reason!   But you don’t have to stand on the street to enjoy street tacos. You can make them in your own kitchen! 

Tonight’s instructor, Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt is passionate about Mexican food.  Seriously, she is obsessed!  She'll dazzle you with her infectious teaching style as she shows you how to make several of her favorite food truck tacos like Carnitas, Chicken Tinga and Carne Asada. You’ll also learn to make Grilled Street Corn (Elote) – a perfect accompaniment to the spicy tacos. We’ll end with Sopapilla, a sweet south-of-the-border dessert. Heck, yeah!
