Learn To Make Sushi

Join us for a special Saturday afternoon sushi-making class where we’ll break out the bamboo mats and get “rolling” with culinary instructor, Chef Reyam Yas. Asian cuisine is one of her specialties, so you're in for a treat.
This afternoon, she’s turning her focus on the art of sushi-making. You’ll learn about sushi rice, wasabi, pickled ginger, how to safely store fish and where and how to buy sushi-grade fish. She’ll also cover hand-rolling techniques and presentation!
Sushi always delivers on flavor and fun so come learn what terms like “Nigiri,” “Temaki” and “Maki” mean, and let’s get our sushi on! Oishii! (That means “yummy” in Japanese!) Yes, you’ll try your hand at making sushi and also taste several types like California Maki Roll and more.
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
