Walking The Plank - Over Gas or Live Fire!

Class Description: 

Grab a group of friends or your special someone for an evening of flavor enhancing grilling fun! “Planking” foods has been around for centuries, but it’s back, and it’s “hot!”

Tonight, under the tutelage of ‘Master Planker” (is that a word?) and Educator of ‘Que’, Chef Richard McPeake, you’ll learn proper heating of the plank, how to soak them (you can also reuse them – we’ll discuss that too).  We will concentrate on the use of the outdoor grill, whether gas or live fire - and you'll taste and help Chef with some of the cooking activities as you learn planked beauties like Baked Brie, BBQ Spiced Planked Salmon topped with a savory pesto, Herb Marinated Pork Tenderloin (with multi-flavors by grilling and plank roasting), and end with a Planked Bosc Pears with Maytag Blue Cheese. Wowzers!

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
