Intro To Cookie Decorating – Patriotic Designs (For Ages 18 & Older)

Class Description: 

Join us for a special fundamentals class that will teach the serious and useful cookie decorating techniques and tips that will have you making your own colorful and unique cookies, in no time. 

Our expert instructor, Leesa Yates, is a cookie decorator extraordinaire, so you’ll be learning from a very talented cookie decorating artist. She’ll get your imagination flowing as she shows you all about the basics of cookie decorating. 

She’ll start things off by showing you how to make Royal Icing.  Next, she’ll show you how to use it as she teaches basic decorating techniques like consistencies, coloring, piping, flooding, and more. And, just in time for the 4th of July, Leesa will include some fun patriotic cookie designs that you can re-create for your friends and family at this year’s holiday get-together!  

Then, she’ll give you the green light to practice what you’ve learned and work on creating some of your own unique designs. Don’t worry, she’ll have samples of cookie designs that she’s made for you to use as inspiration.  In the end, you’ll take home fabulous hand-decorated (by YOU!) cookies, plus the confidence and know-how to make more!
