Join award-winning BBQ champion and accomplished culinary professional, Chef Richard McPeake (a/k/a Educator of 'Que) as he shares his extensive BBQ knowledge and experience with you. The lessons you’ll learn from Chef McPeake are guaranteed to take your backyard BBQ to the next level. Promise.
Tonight, he’ll cover it all, including the basics of properly trimming the pork butt, time, and temperature; proper techniques of smoking, how and when to apply a rub and a sauce… which, as you’ll learn in class, are the ‘secrets’ to putting your smoked dishes miles apart from the amateurs! You’re welcome.
You’ll learn, step-by-step, Chef’s own killer recipe for Twice-Smoked Pulled Pork, as well as the basics of preparing your own BBQ sauce and rub at home! Prepare to take lots of notes, folks….this is a good one!
