Viva Baja! A Celebration of Coastal Mexican Cuisine

Class Description: 

You don’t have to go out to enjoy authentic Baja-style Mexican cuisine. Tonight, you’ll garner some fabulous new culinary techniques, and learn to make some delicious Mexican dishes with fresh ingredients, infused flavors, and delectable presentation as our own Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt shows you how it’s done.

Mexican cuisine is her specialty, so you’re in for a ‘real-deal’ treat that will make palette scream ‘Viva Baja’ as it explodes with the bold and exciting flavors of these tasty dishes like Mini Ceviche Tostadas topped with a cool Pico de Gallo, Baja Fish Tacos - grilled fish fillets marinated in lime, garlic and chiles in corn tortillas with Mango Avocado Salsa, and Black Beans and Corn Rice.  For dessert, she will pull out all the stops with a cool Mexican treat.  

Wear your comfortable party (and kitchen) clothes and come join in on the Mexican cooking fun! A great way to unwind on a Saturday night.

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
