This is a “must-take” class for all of you who make chicken a regular part of your dining repertoire. Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt is a seasoned Chef and instructor and can’t wait to share her expertise as you learn about “the bird”.
Tonight's comprehensive class will cover buying rules, fresh versus frozen, handling techniques, safety considerations, storage essentials, cleaning, cooking temperatures, and the basic cooking methods applicable to poultry, and more. And everything you learn tonight can be applied to cooking turkey too! Wait, what? How’s that for a cluckin’ good twofer bonus!
Not to mention, Chef will whip up some of her favorite chicken dishes while sharing great tips on how to achieve succulent chicken - ever single time. No more dried out chicken for you! Prepare to take lots of notes......this fundamentals class will change the way you cook chicken!
