Hands On | Tasting & Take-Home Pickles
Wed 8/24/22   6:30-9:00 p.m.

Class Description:

Tonight, it’s all about pickling as we learn (and practice) the process from start-to-finish with a true pro. Pickling is Jack Williams passion. Period. He’s a bona fide expert at the art of pickling and is excited to lead this introductory workshop and share his vast knowledge of pickling, including exploring some of his favorite pickle recipes.

Jack will take you beyond the basic pickled cucumber, as he talks about the endless variety of fresh vegetables that are oh-so-delicious when pickled, using the same essential techniques. Who knew?  Jack will cover it all….the basic equipment needed and how it’s used in the pickling process, brining, timing, and of course, packing and filling techniques, pro tips for sealing the jars…and everything in between.

Then, it’s time to get to work as you tie on an apron and practice some of the techniques that Jack has shared with you. In the end, you’ll taste everything taught in class and walk away with your own jar of homemade pickles, and all the recipes and confidence to make them at home, any time you want!

Jack is eager to answer all your questions and so much more.  Bottom line……if learning how to pickle is on your bucket list (and why wouldn’t it be?), you won’t want to miss this fun and interactive pickling workshop.
