Culinary Spotlight: Award-Winning Food Network Personality Chef Nancy Vendetti

Class Description: 

You’re in for a treat this evening as we introduce you to one of our newest instructors, Chef Nancy Vendetti. Her last name belies her Italian heritage but so will her east-coast accent and penchant for storytelling.

You can guess that Chef has mad skills in the classic Italian cuisine department but here’s the kicker…she competed in Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and came in 2nd Place AND she competed in Cake Wars and came in 3rd Place! What the what! Who does that?  Chef Nancy does!  She grew up cooking beside her Mom in the family restaurant and went on to hone her love of the pastry arts in her own bakery in Rhode Island.

Tonight you’ll be entertained as you learn how to make some classic Italian fare because Chef Nancy has stories galore to share.  Learn to master an Italian menu of Chicken Piccata, a garlicky side dish known as ‘Andy Boy Rabbi, one of Chef’s favorite Italian salads and Italian ‘Wandi’ Cookies.
