At The Chef’s Table: Food & Wines Of The Pacific Northwest with Chef Jesse Vega

Class Description: 

Join us for a special food and wine dining experience focused on the rich culinary resources found in the Pacific Northwest.  Longtime CCKC culinary instructor, Chef Jesse Vega, will be at the helm in our kitchen this evening and has designed a menu that celebrates the food and wine treasures found in this unforgettable area. 

Many a fish monger has longed for the knowledge of fish and seafood accumulated by this accomplished chef.  He'll discuss the varieties of local fish found at the famed Seattle Fish Market and you’ll learn some essential fundamentals for working with fish and seafood. Trust us, Chef knows well and loves the culinary treasures found in the waters of the northwest.

You’ll be greeted with a Washington state wine paired with a lovely charcuterie board appetizer.  We’ll follow up with a flavorful dish designed to cleanse your palate before leading up to a show-stopping fresh seafood Cioppino, also paired with a wine from the Pacific Northwest.  We will end our evening with a decadent fall dessert that will be paired with a late-harvest dessert wine.

An unforgettable evening of incredible food and wine inspired by this magical region, all prepared by an experienced and passionate professional. Doesn’t get much better than that, folks.
