Class Description: 

Why do vegetarians always get stuck with Tofurky on their Thanksgiving table? Seriously, is that the best we can do? Wouldn’t it be awesome if you had a foolproof menu that would make even the most diehard vegetarian jump with joy? Well, here you go.

With plant-based lifestyles on the rise these days, there are plenty of other tasty options to serve your non-meat eating friends and family on “turkey day”…..or, in this case - “NO turkey day.” Or you can look at this class as a way to learn how to make “everything but the turkey”.  Healthy cooking expert, Chef Gary Hild, will share his tips to prepare this very doable and tasty meatless menu.

You'll sit back and sip on a glass of wine or beer as Chef Gary gets things started by showing you how to prepare Roasted Apple and Fennel Waldorf Salad topped with a savory cranberry dressing. Then move on to a glorious Curried Butternut Squash Soup that screams fall with its beautiful holiday color, and a tasty vegetable side dish that will make everyone at the table forget about that sticky, sweet marshmallow dish that Aunt Naomi brings. Every. Single. Year. Am I right?

Next, he'll move on to our hearty entrée – Caramelized Vegetable and Quinoa Loaf with a lovely Roasted Red Pepper Sauce. Take that, meat lovers!  For a sweet ending to our Thanksgiving feast, get ready for a show stopping Date Walnut Cake with Cinnamon Red Wine Glaze.  Uh huh….that’s what I’m talking about.

Don't worry, you'll take the recipes home so that you can recreate this fantastic plant-based feast at home.
