join us for a special class where we pay homage to a culinary icon, a self-proclaimed “competent line cook” and arguably one of the most influential chefs the world has ever seen. 

Chef Anthony Bourdain pushed us into uncomfortable territory by showing what it means to share a meal with strangers and by shedding light on the underbelly of where our food comes from.  He was an unlikely travel guide, taking us on food journeys beyond our wildest imagination.  But beyond all else he was himself – without apology.  This dude said what he thought and felt.  He was authentic.  

Tonight, Chef & Lead Instructor Jill Garcia Schmidt pays homage to this culinary giant by designing a fabulous Italian menu that includes Bourdain-inspired dishes such as his favorite pasta dish, Cacio de Pepe, made with just five ingredients, Arancini, mouthwatering Osso Bucco as our outstanding entree, and more. Each dish will tell a tale of a part of the career of this American celebrity chef, author, travel documentarian and television personality. Plus, you’ll also get to assist Chef with some of the cooking activities.

This promises to be an exceptional culinary experience that you won’t want to miss.
