Let’s Nail It Today! A Ho-Ho-Holiday Cupcake Decorating Competition (For Adults & Kids 14+)

NOTE:  Each child (ages 14-17) must be accompanied by a registered adult (18+) and both participants must register for a seat.  When registering for 2 people, you must select 2 seats on the Shopping Cart page.

Class Description: 

Ho Ho Ho! It’s Black Friday and we’re kicking off the holiday season with a festive (and very merry) cake decorating competition where adults and kids (age 14+) will try their hand at re-creating edible Christmas-inspired cupcake masterpieces.  Whomever comes the closest will receive mad “prizeage”. (I just made that up.)

Ok, Ok…today’s expert instructor, Chef Nancy Vendetti will show you some fundamentals of cake decorating and unveil some holly jolly cupcake designs before you start.  We are a culinary center, right? Then she'll let you loose to “nail it” and see if who can make them too....and win the prize! 

Your project may kick some cake-decorating butt, or it may miss the mark a bit, but we promise you’ll have some fun and learn some cupcake decorating tips & techniques in the process.

We’ll have very merry holiday music playing to get you in the holiday spirit. At the end of this class, we’ll send you home with your sweet holiday cupcake creations, all ready to show off  …and to EAT of course! What a fun way to kick off the holidays! Let’s do this!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CLASS (AGES 14-17):

• Let us know if you want to sit near someone else attending the class.  Let us know at the time of registration (in the ‘comments’ section of your registration) whether you would like to sit near someone else attending the class..  You could also call us with this information at 913-341-4455
  
  
• For kids ages 14-17 attending this class, we require A Waiver signed by parent/legal guardian prior to admittance to this class:  [Click here to download the Waiver]   Note that the Waiver requires that you provide  (1) a phone number where you can be reached during the class if necessary and (2) name(s) of any additional people who are authorized to pick up the child after class.  We encourage you to print off a copy of this Waiver, sign it and either 1) scan and email to heather@kcculinary.com or 2) bring it to class with your student.  Without an appropriately signed Waiver your child will not be allowed to attend class.  We are sorry but we cannot make any exceptions to this rule.  Also note that If someone other than the parent signs a Waiver, they will need a legal document to be presented that shows without question that they have the legal authority to sign a Waiver on behalf of your child at that time.
  
  
• Only registered students allowed in the classroom during class.  While we love those parents/grand-parents, aunts & uncles, they will not be allowed to attend ‘just to watch their child’ without registering for the class.  You are welcome to enjoy our Kitchen Shop Experience while your child, age 9 and up, is attending.
