Here’s a great idea for an holiday outing with friends or business associates. Tonight, we’ll celebrate southern-style as we learn from a consummate pro how to create a comforting and nostalgic menu including perfectly fried chicken – just like Grandma Claus used to make in her cast-iron skillet.
This menu is highly flavorful and craved by everyone, even Santa! Not to mention, it’s a perfect menu to serve hungry friends and family at your holiday gatherings. When it comes to teaching us, there’s nobody better suited for the job than one of our most popular instructors, Chef Richard McPeake.
He’ll teach essential culinary techniques while walking you through the steps to make the best pan-fried chicken using a cast-iron skillet to achieve the crispiest, most flavorful crunchy outside with moist and juicy meat on the inside. Seriously, it’s so good.
Chef Richard has a real knack for taking the foods you know and love and spinnin’ them for a bit of a surprise, a little bit of “wow,” and a little “somethin” extra festive, since we’re celebrating the Christmas season. Prepare yourself for some culinary magic as he puts a big red bow on classic accompaniments such as ‘wicked good’ Smashed Sour Cream Potatoes, Country Salad (straight from the legendary Sam Wilson’s Restaurant) and Caramelized Apple Jack Brandy Apple dessert (including a special sauce with a “kick”) to satisfy your sweet tooth. A unique way to spread some southern holiday cheer.
