Here’s the perfect gift idea for the wannabe cake decorator on your holiday list!
This introductory class will start by exploring some basics about cakes like the importance of crumb-coating, leveling, prepping and more. Then the decorating fun begins as cake decorator extraordinaire, Rachel Van Stratton, shows you how to use premade Buttercream icing in decorator bags, and her 4 favorite beginning tips as you learn to make basic decorations such as stars, rosettes, and shell borders. You’ll learn everything you need to know to make your cake decorating a breeze!
It will all come together as you practice leveling, crumb-coating, icing, AND decorating your very own mini-cake that you’ll get to take home and show off to your family. Say goodbye to grocery store cakes!
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
