Class Description: 

Santa is back at the North Pole, but that doesn’t mean the holiday season is over! Round up a group of friends or plan a unique date night to celebrate the New Year with your sweetie and join us for a fun evening of indulgent and flavorful combinations that will take you straight to culinary heaven – wine & chocolate! 

Chef Mari Ruck will teach fundamentals of working with chocolate, as well as how to pair it with various varietals and types of wines.  She'll talk you through why some wines go so well with chocolate as well. 

You’ll put your wine glass down long enough to get some hands-on action making real-deal Truffles - rich confections made with a mélange of melted chocolate, butter or cream, sugar and flavorings then topped with some interesting ingredients like liqueurs, spices, coffee and more.  Oh heck, sign ME up for this one!  Some are even ‘double-dipped’ in chocolate. Whoa.  The possibilities are endless.  You’ll package your fancy-schmancy truffles and then take with you  to enjoy at home.

NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, each evening class fee includes one glass of beer/wine, with additional beverages available at a nominal cost.
