Class Description: 

Tonight is your chance to go back and experience some of Kansas City’s famous dishes you thought were gone forever. Executive Chef Richard McPeake will lead this interesting class where you’ll dive deep into the world of local culinary history and enjoy some paired wines as well! Did you know Chef Richard is the chef who designed the menus and dishes themselves for the original Fedora’s and Bristol among many other Country Club Plaza restaurants. Yep, it’s true.  And, tonight, you’ll get the opportunity to work alongside Chef McPeake and help prepare some of his treasured dishes starting with an Award-Winning Steak Soup.

The Bristol Bar & Grill received accolades including the Silver Spoon award under Chef Richard’s guidance due to incredible recipes like a Sliced Tomato & Sweet Red Onion Salad with Black Pepper Vinaigrette and Pan Sautéed Lemon Sole with Lemon Parsley Butter with Rice Pilaf. With Chef Richard at the helm, Fedora’s was celebrated as one of the Top 10 Bistros in America with dishes like Pan Sautéed Chicken Saltimbocca with Sage Glaze and Sautéed Spaghetti Squash. Chef will also feature Fedora’s Blue-Ribbon Chocolate Truffle Cake, to cap off our evening.
