Cookie Decorating Workshop: Piping, Writing & Painting Techniques (For Adults 18+)

Class Description: 

Take your cookie decorating skills to a whole new level in this fun and interactive class. Experienced cookie artist and culinary instructor Rachel Van Stratton will dive right in as she shows you how to make royal icing. Then she’ll demonstrate interesting decorating techniques like piping, how to write on cookies, painting with gold luster dust on cookies and more.  Next, she’ll show you how to use those techniques to create some pretty designs as she gives you the 'skinny' on cookie decorating fundamentals. 

Then, you’ll get down and dirty into the decorating details as you practice what you’ve learned to create your own colorful cookie designs. Don’t worry, Rachel will have some sample cookies decorated using the piping and writing techniques learned today to show you how it’s done and get your creative juices flowing. You’ll leave class with valuable hands-on experience as well as writing practice sheets.
