Come Sail Away! A ‘Spirited’ Journey of Mexican Cocktails & Cuisine

Class Description: 

Join us for a mucho fun “spirited” tour from some of our favorite Mexican ports of call – it’s a little bit “Love Boat”…..with a big splash of Tequila! As we set sail, tonight’s instructor, Bruce Campbell, will entertain us with tales of his south-of-the-border cruises as we learn all about Tequila along the way …like the various styles and the differences between Tequila and Mezcal.

We’ll start off with a Paloma, a tequila-based, grapefruit-flavored cocktail along with Chips and Black Bean salsa.  Then Bruce will mix up a variety of Margarita recipes to learn (and sample) such as a Spicy Mango Tequila Infusion (sounds very intriguing). He’s also promised to create his “Howlin’ Coyote Cocktail” and divulge its “secret” ingredients. Wait, what?! 

Everyone knows it’s not the best idea to cruise the seas while tasting tequila cocktails on an empty stomach (duh), so Bruce will serve up south-of-the-border-inspired dishes out of our “galley” to fill your belly including Grilled Margarita Chicken with Warm Jalapeño Corn Relish along with Smoked Pork Quesadillas.  We’ll end our evening with Grilled Pineapple cake topped with TEQUILA Whip Cream. So … come aboard for this fun night of Mexican cocktails and cuisine … we’re expecting you!
